Milan/Cortina 2026 Games: the design of the podiums has been announced
On Wednesday, the official podiums for the Milan/Cortina 2026 Olympic and Paralympic Games were unveiled at the Palazzo Lombardia in Milan, Italy. The announcement comes exactly 100 days before the opening ceremony of the Games, scheduled for February 6 at the San Siro stadium.
Raffaella Paniè, director of the visual identity and look of the Games at the Milano Cortina 2026 Foundation, unveiled the much-anticipated podiums.

Created by the Foundation in collaboration with the Cavaletti + Pagliariccio studio, the catwalks combine contemporary design and Italian craftsmanship, embodying the identity of this edition of the Games thanks to gradations and shades of colour that underline its dynamics and visual identity.

The project is characterised by several key features: simplicity, modularity, uniqueness and dynamism – principles that inspired all the objects and decorations created for the victory ceremonies.

Made of wood and metal, they can be adapted to the different disciplines, individual or team, and can accommodate up to ten athletes per medal ceremony. They are also fully accessible, with ramps and safety ledges to meet the needs of Paralympic athletes.
