Biathlon: Jeanne Richard not coming to Antholz
Montblanc biathlete Jeanne Richard, who has been selected for her first Olympic Games, will not be going to Antholz (Italy) where she will not be donning the Olympic uniform. Althoughshe was due to rejoin the French squad at the start of the week after returning to the IBU Cup on the first weekend of February, she will not be doing so in the end.
Stéphane Bouthiaux, director of the French biathlon teams, confirms this choice to Nordic Magazine: “She decided to prioritise her preparation for the end of the season by staying in France and avoiding days of travelling,” explains the Franc-Comtois.

Jeanne Richard, who was not the best French rider at the IBU Cup in Sjusjøen (Norway), is expected to spendthe end of the winter in North America on the B circuit.
