Ski jumping: the snow came out to celebrate in Predazzo for the Super Team
On Monday evening, the HS141 ski jump in Predazzo (Italy) hosted the final ski jumping competition of the Milan/Cortina 2026 Olympic Games. To round off the hostilities, a men’s Super Team – the first in the history of the Olympics – was held.
Previously without a medal, Austria’s Jan Hoerl and Stephan Embacher dominated the competition to take the gold medal. However, the event could not be completed as heavy snow fell on the jump just a few jumpers from the end of the final run. The jury therefore decided to use the results of the second run as the final classification for the medals.

As a result, Austria took the title ahead of Poland with Pawel Wasek and Kacper Tomasiak. Norway(Johann Andre Forfang, Kristoffer Eriksen Sundal) took bronze by just 0.3 points from Germany(Andreas Wellinger, Philipp Raimund), 1.9 from Slovenia(Anze Lanisek, Domen Prevc) and 2.8 from Japan(Ren Nikaido, Ryoyu Kobayashi).

France’s Jules Chervet and Valentin Foubert finished twelfth.
