10:40. On Thursday evening, the first ski jumping training sessions took place on the big hill at the Predazzo Ski Jumping Stadium, the venue for the Milan/Cortina 2026 Olympic Games.
A few days after his incredible fifth place on the small hill, Valentin Foubert performed particularly well on the second of his three jumps. Soaring to 127 metres on this HS141, he took eighth place in this round won by Ren Nikaido at 139 metres.

The other two jumps were won by Jan Hoerl (140.5 metres) and Domen Prevc (143.5 metres), while Yuki Ito (138 metres), Nika Prevc (134 metres) and Eirin Maria Kvandal (130.5 metres) dominated the women’s heats.
