17:22. A few hours after it was announced that the provisional suspension of Italian biathlete Rebecca Passler had been lifted following a positive doping test, her entry for the Milan/Cortina 2026 Olympic Games was confirmed this afternoon.
The news came via an official communication from the Olympic organisers. “ The IBU has confirmed the athlete’s eligibility from a sporting point of view”, the document states.
