Biathlon: an unsurprising quartet for the French team in the Olympic relay
On Monday afternoon, the staff of the French biathlon team officially unveiled the line-up of the men’s relay that will compete in the Milan/Cortina 2026 Olympic Games on Tuesday from 2.30pm.
For this Olympic relay, in which Les Bleus will be in the hunt for a historic gold medal, the coaching staff have decided to put their faith in their leaders. Vosgien Fabien Claude will start the race, while Villardien Emilien Jacquelin will follow. Already multi-medallists in Italy, Quentin Fillon-Maillet and Eric Perrot will be in charge of finishing the job.
This means thatOscar Lombardot and Emilien Claude, who are substitutes for the 2026 Olympics, will not be competing in Antholz (Italy).
