Biathlon: time for the men’s relay in Antholz
After a well-deserved break, the biathlon events at the Milan/Cortina 2026 Olympic Games are back in action this Tuesday in Antholz (Italy) with the men’s relay. Scheduled to start at 2.30pm, it will be contested by Fabien Claude, Emilien Jacquelin, Quentin Fillon-Maillet and Eric Perrot for the French team.
Facing Les Bleus, who will be trying to win an Olympic title they have never won before, will be their traditional opponents. First up are Norway, with Martin Uldal, Johan-Olav Botn, Sturla Holm Lægreid and Vetle Sjaastad Christiansen.
Sweden(Viktor Brandt, Jesper Nelin, Martin Ponsiluoma, Sebastian Samuelsson), Germany(Justus Strelow, David Zobel, Philipp Nawrath, Philipp Horn), Italy(Patrick Braunhofer, Lukas Hofer, Nicola Romanin, Tommaso Giacomel) and the United States(Sean Doherty, Maxime Germain, Paul Schommer, Campbell Wright) will also be watching closely.
A total of twenty nations will take part in the men’s Olympic relay, one less than in 2022 and two more than in 2018.
