Biathlon: time for the women’s relay in Antholz
The day after the men’s biathlon relay, it’s the women who will be on deck this Wednesday afternoon at the Milan/Cortina 2026 Olympic Games. In Antholz (Italy), the starting gun goes off at 2.45pm with Camille Bened, Lou Jeanmonnot, Océane Michelon and Julia Simon defending the French colours.
To go for a second Olympic title in the format, they will have to be wary of Norway (Marthe Kraakstad Johansen, Juni Arnekleiv, Kaorline Knotten, Maren Kirkeeide), Italy(Hannah Auchentaller, Dorothea Wierer, Michela Carrara, Lisa Vittozzi), Sweden(Linn Gestblom, Anna Magnusson, Elvira Oeberg, Hanna Oeberg) and Germany(Julia Tannheimer, Franziska Preuss, Janina Hettich-Walz, Vanessa Voigt).
Last but not least, Belgium (Lotte Lie, Maya Cloetens, Eve Bouvard, Marisa Emonts) will be fielding a women’s relay for the very first time at the Olympic Games.
