Milan/Cortina 2026 Olympic Games: three waves to reveal the French athletes selected
To coincide with the gathering of the French Olympic and Paralympic team at the Gaîté Lyrique in Paris, the French National Olympic and Sports Committee (CNOSF) has issued a press pack setting out the dates for the unveiling of the French squad for the Milan/Cortina 2026 Olympic Games.
Three Olympic Selection Advisory Committees (OSCCs) are scheduled : the first on 22 December, the second on 19 January and the third on 23 January. All of these will be used to announce the nominative selections on 23 December, 20 January and 23 January.
While the disciplines involved in each of the waves have not been revealed, the Nordic sports (cross-country skiing, biathlon, ski jumping, Nordic combined), with events contested until the end of the selection period, will inevitably see the names of their selected athletes made official on 20 or 23 January.
