A total of twenty-seven athletes from the Army of Champions, including many Nordic athletes, took part in an immersion course with the 27th mountain infantry brigade in Varces (Isère) on Wednesday.
Army of Champions: a day of immersion in the 27th mountain infantry brigade for French soldiers
On Wednesday, a few weeks after the successful World Military Games, a delegation of twenty-seven athletes from the French military ski team took part in an immersion day with the 27th mountain infantry brigade, based in Varces (Isère).
Among those present were a number of Nordic athletes, including Sophie Chauveau, Delphine Claudel, Arnaud Chautemps, Jules Lapierre, Richard Jouve, Eric Perrot, Flora Dolci, Léna Quintin, Lou Jeanmonnot, Antonin Guigonnat, Jules Lapierre, Lucas Chanavat and Chloé Chevalier.
Throughout the day, military sportsmen and women from the Joinville Battalion were able to take part in shooting exercises, travel in all-terrain vehicles (including the Serval), artillery firing simulations and equipment presentations.
