Biathlon: Anaëlle Bondoux absent in Arçon
Present on the start list for the women’s sprint at the Summer Tour biathlon in Arçon (Doubs) with bib number 23, Anaëlle Bondoux from Grenoble will not be lining up in the end.
As she announced on Instagram on Friday evening, she was the victim of a “nasty fall on skis” last week. “I’ve been able to get back into training gently, but my body still needs a bit of time to get back into competition,” she says.

With her withdrawal from the Doubs races after doing the double in September in Prémanon (Jura), Anaëlle Bondoux is unlikely to be in a position to win the 2024 title of French U22 summer biathlon champion. This forced deadlock leaves the door open to her rivals.
Finally, this setback should not be detrimental to Anaëlle Bondoux, who has already qualified for the start of the IBU Cup. The selections in Bessans (Savoie), scheduled for 14-18 November, will therefore have no immediate stakes for the Dauphinoise.
