Biathlon: Léonie Jeannier and Mathieu Garcia more yellow than ever
Last weekend, the 2024/2025 French Biathlon Cup celebrated its fourth stage. In Contamines-Montjoie (Haute-Savoie), short sprints and short individuals were contested.
In the U22/Seniors rankings, this enabled Doubs-based Léonie Jeannier (598) to continue to gain ground in the overall standings. Wearing the yellow bib, she now has a 120-length lead over Coralie Langel (478). Amandine Mengin (395) completes the provisional podium ahead of Pauline Machut (375), Noémie Remonnay (367), Thémice Fontaine (359) and Célia Henaff (357).

On the men’s side, Dauphin’s Mathieu Garcia’s lead has slipped. With 544 points collected, he leads Valentin Lejeune (509) by 35 points. Antonin Delsol (425), just ahead of Rémi Broutier (419), closed the podium.
Lola Bugeaud and Camille Grataloup-Manissolle ahead in the U19s
In the U19s, Louise Roguet (397), until then leader, lost the lead. The young Haut-Savoyard rider had been competing on the IBU Cup circuit over the last few days. Lola Bugeaud, the double winner, is now in first place with 431 points. Coralie Perrin (410) is close behind, while Léna Moretti (392) is fourth.

In the men’s rankings, Camille Grataloup-Manissolle (572) continues to dominate proceedings. Léo Carlier (410) was pushed back to 162 points, while Clément Pirès (372) battled with Antonin Guy (355) and Noé Seigneur (353) for the podium.
Thaïs Royet and Augustin Remonnay lead the way in the U17s
In the girls’ Under 17s, the battle raged between Thaïs Royet (337), holder of the yellow and white bib, Adèle Ouvrier-Buffet (320) and Rose Marguet (312).

There was the same suspense on the men’s side, but only between two men: Augustin Remonnay (413) and Nicolas Colomban (401), separated by 12 points. Sacha Mazzilli-Riaboff (306) follows on the third step of the podium ahead of Niels Bibollet (291).
