Biathlon: the Autrans Mass-Start 60 for Mathieu Garcia
After the sprints, the second day of the French Biathlon Cup in Autrans (Isère) on Sunday featured the 60 mass-starts. At the very start of the morning, the men got the ball rolling in a race dominated by two local athletes.

Villardien Mathieu Garcia (19/20) put in his best performance of the winter to win by 6 sec 1 from Antonin Guy (19/20). Winner in the U21 category, Guy also put in his best race of the season.

Martin Botet (18/20), at 17 sec 3, completed the overall podium. Noé Seigneur (15/20), second U21, Corentin Jacob (16/20), Enzo Bouillet (15/20), third U21, Lou Thiévent (17/20), Léo Carlier (14/20), Benjamin de Grimaudet de Rochebouët (16/20) and Ian Martinet (17/20) made up the day’s top 10.

Further back, Rémi Broutier (14/20) was thirteenth, Edgar Geny (14/20) fifteenth, Judicaël Perrillat-Bottonet (13/20) sixteenth, Esteban Javaux (14/20) seventeenth and Antonin Delsol (11/20) twenty-third.
