Biathlon: Johannes Thingnes Boe has left Norway
As soon as the Biathlon World Cup in Antholz (Italy) was over, the Norwegian national team headed for the Lavazè Pass (Italy) for a training camp in preparation for the World Championships in Lenzerheide (Switzerland). All the selected athletes were involved… except Johannes Thingnes Boe.
“I realise that it will be really good to go home. I’m determined for Lenzerheide, and I’m ready to do a Thingnes Boe special at the world championships”, he explained at the time to our Dagbladet colleagues.
In Norway, as he showed on his social networks, Johannes Thingnes Boe went up to train in Sjusjøen (Norway), where he has a chalet right next to the biathlon stadium.
After a week with his family and friends, the man who has won five major crystal globes has decided to join his team-mates on the Col de Lavazè to perfect his preparation before heading back to Switzerland in a few days’ time.
