Biathlon: seven preparation courses for Belgium this summer
As the national team continues to grow in stature year on year and take on an increasingly important role in the international biathlon scene, Belgium will be holding a number of training camps during the run-up to the Olympics, which begins in May.
Firstly, next week, the top athletes are invited to Rio Maior (Portugal) for the Belgian Olympic and Interfederal Committee meeting. Then, from 2 to 8 June, all the biathletes will meet for the first time this summer. It will be in the Vercors.

From 23 June to 13 July, a high-altitude bouldering session will take place in Bessans (Savoie), before the Belgians return home from 15 to 22 August for a week’s training in Elsenborn (Belgium), marked by the summer national championships.
From 25 to 30 August, a second stopover in the Vercors is on the programme, followed by the biathletes from across the border in Font-Romeu (Pyrénées-Orientales) from 15 September to 5 October. Finally, the Olympic preparations will come to a close on the Norwegian snow from 4 to 16 November.

- 4-16 November: Norway (with participation in the Norwegian opening races at Geilo)
