Biathlon: French coaching staff in disarray
Next weekend, the French biathlon team will be on several fronts. On the one hand, Emilien Jacquelin, Eric Perrot, Quentin Fillon-Maillet, Fabien Claude, Océane Michelon, Julia Simon, Jeanne Richard and Lou Jeanmonnot will be in Munich (Germany) to compete in the Loop One Festival.
On the other hand, Oscar Lombardot, Antonin Guigonnat and Justine Braisaz-Bouchet, to name but a few of the athletes in Group A, will be taking part in the Summer Tour at La Féclaz (Savoie).

A combination of competitions almost 700 km apart means that the French staff have had to make choices in order to be present everywhere. As Nordic Magazine has learned, Simon Fourcade, Jean-Paul Giachino and Cyril Burdet will be in Germany for the Loop One Festival, while Patrick Favre and Jean-Pierre Amat will be behind the binoculars in Savoie.
Louis Deschamps, Bastien Moretti, Julien Robert, Baptiste Desthieux, Rachel Demangeat and Claire Breton, the coaches of Group B and Excellence 2030, will of course be in La Féclaz (Savoie) to coach their biathletes.
