Biathlon: sixth IBU Cup victory of the winter for Paula Botet
Paula Botet from Bresse is clearly insatiable this season at the IBU Biathlon Cup. Rested on Wednesday in the mixed events of the Brezno-Osrblie stage (Slovakia), she won the sprint at the Nardone Biatlonove Centrum on Friday morning.

To secure her sixth first place of the winter, the Vosges native clocked a 10/10 on the mats, in addition to a solid time on the cross-country track. Montblanc’s Gilonne Guigonnat (9/10), who was impressive, missed out by 1 sec 8, but still secured her first individual international podium of the season.

Italy’s Samuela Comola (10/10) rounded off the top three, ahead of Poland’s Anna Maka (10/10), Bornand’s Sophie Chauveau (8/10), fifth, and Norway’s Guro Yttherhus (10/10).
The other French girls were Voldiya Galmace-Paulin (9/10) tenth, Amandine Mengin (9/10) fifteenth and Célia Henaff (8/10) sixteenth.
