Biathlon: another podium for Voldiya Galmace-Paulin
Voldiya Galmace-Paulin is currently insatiable. Having hovered around the podium on the IBU Cup biathlon circuit for a long time since the start of the winter season, she has made it her home since last week. This Friday, by finishing second in the Brezno-Osrblie sprint (10/10), the native of Haut-Savoie secured her fourth top 3 finish in a row.

With the perfect shot, she was only beaten to the finish by Norway’s Marthe Kraakstad Johansen (10/10), who won by 7.6 seconds. Karoline Erdal (8/10) took third place at 26 sec 1. Marit Oeygard (10/10), Anna Hedstroem (9/10) and Siri Skar (9/10) rounded off the top 6.

Bornandine Sophie Chauveau (8/10), with two errors on her feet, took eighth place, while Léonie Jeannier (8/10) was twelfth and Amandine Mengin (8/10) thirteenth. Gilonne Guigonnat and Camille Bened have returned to France due to illness.
