This week, just a few days after the end of a magnificent season in which she won the IBU Cup and discovered the World Cup, Camille Bened underwent an operation.
It was her left shoulder – affected in November 2023 in Bessans (Savoie) – that was operated on, as she revealed this Saturday afternoon in a post published on Instagram. “An operation that will allow my shoulder […] to regain its stability, she wrote. This decision, taken with the coaches and medical staff, marks a new stage in my career, but it should allow me to move forward more serenely.”
“This enforced rest will allow me to recover fully from this long and wonderful season,” she concludes.
