Biathlon: another top 10 at the Canadian trials for Lisa Cart-Lamy
Two days after the first sprint of the Canadian biathlon selections in Canmore (Canada), it was the pursuits that were on the programme this Friday morning local time. On the Alberta snowfarm, so-called ‘standard’ pursuits took place, with pre-established gaps of 5 seconds between the biathletes.
Firstly, the women’s competition was dominated by Nadia Moser. Already the winner of the sprint, she won with a 17/20 with an 8 sec 9 lead over Emma Lunder (19/20), pre-qualified for the World Cup. At 51.5 seconds, Pascale Paradis (16/20) rounded off the podium, just a few seconds ahead of Shilo Rousseau (17/20) and Emily Dickson (16/20).

The rest of the top 10 is completed by Benita Peiffer (12/20), Janice Grundahl (15/20), Vilde Boerseth (15/20), Jurassienne Lisa Cart-Lamy (15/20) and Cheyenne Tirschmann (13/20).
Logan Pletz buys Adam Runnalls
The men’s pursuit was won by Logan Pletz (16/20). Adam Runnalls (14/20), who had been pre-qualified, was second at 36 sec 6, while Jasper Fleming (15/20) took third place almost 2 minutes behind.

Haldan Borglum (16/20), Lucas Smith (18/20), Luke Hulshof (14/20), Daniel Gilfillan (17/20), Jean-Nicolas De Broeck (11/20), Matus Chlepko (15/20) and Matthew Strum (14/20) complete the top 10.
