Biathlon: the Canmore Canadian trials are underway
On Wednesday, the Canadian biathlon selection week kicked off in Canmore (Canada) with the first sprints. On the women’s side, Pascale Paradis (8/10) won.
With a time of 23 min 30 sec 9, she is 23 sec 4 ahead of Shilo Rousseau (8/10) and 30 sec 9 ahead of Nadia Moser (8/10), while Benita Peiffer (7/10), Emily Dickson (8/10), Gillian Gowling (9/10) and Cheyenne Tirschmann (7/10) follow in the rankings.

In the men’s race, Adam Runnalls (9/10) won by a wide margin. On the podium behind him were Jasper Fleming (8/10) and Logan Pletz (8/10). Ryan Elden (10/10), Zachary Connelly (6/10) and Luke Hulshof (8/10) rounded out the day’s top six.
