Biathlon: U17 sprints on the Col de Porte won by Augustin Remonnay and Pauline Sgaros Rohmer
On Sunday afternoon, the weather conditions were much better than on Saturday for the U17 races in the French Biathlon Cup at Col de Porte (Isère). After the adjustments made on the first day, the jury decided to cancel the pursuits and run sprints again.

In the boys’ race, which started first, Doubs-based Augustin Remonnay (9/10), the overall leader, won by a wide margin. He dominated the race, ahead of Nathanaël Cullell (8/10) by 27 sec 9 and Niels Bibollet (7/10) by 28 sec 9.

The women’s sprint went to Pauline Sgaros Rohmer from Féclaz. At 9/10, she managed to hold off the comeback ofAdèle Ouvrier-Buffet (7/10) in the last shot and won with a 10 sec 2 lead. Thaïs Royet (8/10), wearing the yellow and white bib, completed the podium at 14 sec 9.
