Biathlon: Eline Curnillon and Nicolas Colomban win in the fog
This Saturday afternoon, fog descended on the Col de Porte biathlon stadium (Isère), host of another leg of the 2024/2025 French Cup. While the U19/U22/Seniors races went off without a hitch in the morning, this had consequences for the U17s.

First, the boys competed in their sprint, shooting twice from a standing position. Nicolas Colomban (5/10) won, ahead of Augustin Remonnay (5/10) by 43 sec 7 and Jules Lafoux (4/10) by 46 sec 6.

Although the women’s sprint was scheduled to follow, it was not able to take place as planned due to the ever-increasing fog. The jury therefore decided to let the competitors go… but without rifles. The result was an individual cross-country skiing race over 6km, in which Eline Curnillon triumphed with a margin of 14 sec 1 over Adèle Ouvrier-Buffet and 17 sec 6 over Cassandre Couder.
