20:32. The sensation Einar Hedegart has made up his mind about his future. At the age of 24, the Norwegian has decided to put an end to his biathlon career to devote himself entirely to cross-country skiing, as he revealed to Adresseavisen.
After a resounding 2nd place in the individual skate in Oslo (Norway) last March – behind Harald Oestberg Amundsen but ahead ofJohannes Hoesflot Klæbo – the Norwegian went on to win the national mass-start title in biathlon.

After a few weeks of reflection, the choice is now clear: “It’s the Olympic season, and I have far more chances in cross-country skiing than in biathlon, so it’s a natural choice, especially as I’m part of a cross-country skiing team,” confided Einar Hedegart.
