Biathlon | Cross-country skiing: the Asian Games take place in China
Eight years later, the Asian Winter Games are back on the programme. First held in 1986, this February 2025 marks the ninth edition of this competition. For the third time after 1996 and 2007, it is China, in Harbin (China), that is organising the event.
This year’s Asian Games programme includes two Nordic disciplines: cross-country skiing (classic sprint, individual skate, relay) and biathlon (sprint, relay).

Of particular note are the biathletes Mikito Tachizaki, Alexandr Mukhin, Kirill Bauer, Enkhsaikhan Enkhbat, Jialin Tang, Yuanmeng Chu, Fanqi Meng, Mikito Takeuchi, Arina Kriyukova, Olga Poltoranina, Ekaterina Avvakumova and Vadim Kurales.
In cross-country skiing, Chinese sar Qiang Wang will be taking part, but there will also be Haruki Yamashita, Mark Chanloung, Dinigeer Yilamujiang, Chika Kobayashi and Xeniya Shalygina on the slopes.

- 4.00 – Cross-country skiing: men’s and women’s CT sprint qualifiers
- 6.00 – Cross-country skiing: men’s and women’s CT sprint finals
Sunday 9February
- 4.00 – Cross-country skiing: individual women’s 5 km FT
Monday 10 February
- 4h00 – Cross-country skiing: individual 10 km FT men
Tuesday 11th February
- 3:00 – Biathlon: women’s 7.5 km sprint
- 6.00 – Biathlon: men’s 10 km sprint
Wednesday 12 February
- 4h00 – Cross-country skiing: women’s 4×5 km CT/FT relay
- 6.00 – Cross-country skiing: men’s 4×7.5 km CT/FT relay
Thursday 13 February
- 3:00 – Biathlon: women’s 4×6 km relay
- 6.00 – Biathlon: men’s 4×7.5 km relay
