Biathlon: a third and final medal this week at the Customs Tournament for France’s Nordic athletes
A few minutes after the women’s patrol, it was the men who were on deck this Thursday morning at the Lavazè pass (Italy) as part of the Customs 2025 Tournament. And it was once again the Italians, on home soil, who won!
The team of Elia Barp, Davide Graz and Tommaso Giacomel (9/10), who had already won the individual cross-country skate race on Wednesday, took the gold medal after 41 min 1 sec 0 of effort.
Germany with Friedrich Moch, Elias Keck and Johannes Kuehn (9/10) took silver at 25 sec 7, while France with Clément Parisse, Victor Lovera and Quentin Fillon-Maillet (8/10) took bronze at 31 sec 1 after leading the race for a long time.
The other teams were unable to challenge for the podium. Germany 2(Florian Notz, Jakob Elias Moch, Roman Rees), France 2(Julien Arnaud, Renaud Jay, Emilien Jacquelin), Italy 3(Gabriele Matli, Alessandro Chiocchetti, Cesare Lozza), Italy 2(Luca Del Fabbro, Giandomenico Salvadori, Nicola Giordano), Germany 3(Jan-Friedrich Doerks, Johannes Rydzek, David Zobel), Austria(Fabio Obermeyr, Lukas Greiderer, Patrick Jakob) and Switzerland(Erwan Kaeser, Gion Stalder, Sebastian Stalder).
