Biathlon: the names of the twelve Italians selected for the Nove Mesto World Cup
On Tuesday, the Italian Winter Sports Federation (FISI) unveiled the line-up for the Biathlon World Cup in Nove Mesto (Czech Republic).
Although Lisa Vittozzi, who is out for the whole season, will not be there, Dorothea Wierer and Tommaso Giacomel will once again lead the transalpine selection. Michela Carrara, Hannah Auchentaller, Samuela Comola, Martina Trabucchi and Linda Zingerle complete the women’s squad.

For the latter, this is her second World Cup selection, the first since… December 2021 and a sprint that finished 96th in Le Grand-Bornand (Haute-Savoie).
The men’s squad includes Lukas Hofer, Didier Bionaz, Elia Zeni, Patrick Branhofer and Daniele Capellari .

- 2.55pm: Men’s 12.5 km pursuit
- 5.40pm: Women’s 10km pursuit
Sunday 9 March
- 1.50pm: Men’s 4×7.5km relay
- 4.45pm: Women’s 4x6km relay
