Biathlon: Finland unveils its selection for Oberhof and Ruhpolding
For the Biathlon World Cups in Oberhof (Germany) and Ruhpolding (Germany), scheduled for early January, Finland will be fielding nine athletes.
According to the announcement by theFinnish Biathlon Association, Venla Lehtonen and Suvi Minkkinen, who have been performing well since the start of the winter, will lead the women’s group , with Inka Hämäläinen and Sonja Leinamo in their wake.
The men’s squad includes Arttu Heikkinen, Otto Invenius, Heikki Laitinen, Jaakko Rana and Tero Seppälä. In the IBU Cup, to be held in Arber (Germany) and Brezno-Osrblie (Slovakia), Erika Jänkä, Noora Kaisa Keränen, Olli Hiidensalo and Tuomas Harjula will be among those taking part.
