Biathlon: Czechs down to ten men for World Cup finals
On Monday afternoon, Cesky Biatlon, the Czech Biathlon Federation, unveiled the list of athletes selected for the World Cup finals in Oslo-Holmenkollen (Norway).
While Marketa Davidova, who is continuing her treatment for a herniated disc, will not be taking part, Patr Hak, junior bronze medallist in the sprint a few weeks ago, will be making his first appearance on the world circuit. Vitezslav Hornig, a young father, Michal Krcmar, Jonas Marecek and Tomas Mikyska are also in the squad.
On the women’s side, Lucie Charvatova, Jessica Jislova, Heda Mikolasova, Ilona Plechacova and Tereza Vobornikova make up the group of biathletes competing this weekend in Oslo-Holmenkollen.

- 4.15pm: Women’s 7.5km sprint

- 1.45pm: Men’s 12.5 km pursuit
- 3.50pm: women’s 10km pursuit
Sunday 23rd March
- 1.15pm: women’s 12.5 km mass-start
- 3.40pm: men’s 15km mass-start
