Biathlon: Italy down to ten men for the final stage of the World Cup
On Tuesday morning, the Italian Winter Sports Federation (FISI) announced its squad for the biathlon world cup finals in Oslo-Holmenkollen (Norway), scheduled to start on Friday.
For this final stage of the world tour, Klaus Hoellrigl, the boss of biathlon in Italy, decided to call up Nicola Romanin. The 31-year-old will be making his World Cup debut in the Norwegian capital alongside Patrick Braunhofer, Tommaso Giacomel and Daniele Cappellari.

In the women’s category, Rebecca Passler, who has been in the IBU Cup in recent weeks, is back in the World Cup. Dorothea Wierer, Hannah Auchentaller, Martina Trabucchi, Samuela Comola and Michela Carrara are also in the squad.
