Biathlon: Fifteen Germans through to the World Cup finals
On Tuesday morning, the German Ski Association made its selection for the biathlon world cup in Oslo-Holmenkollen (Norway), scheduled to start on Friday, official . For this important event, Franziska Preuss, in yellow for 20 points ahead of Lou Jeanmonnot, is of course the leader of the women’s group.
In her wake are Selina Grotian, Johanna Puff, Sophia Schneider, Julia Tannheimer, Stefanie Scherer and Anna Weidel. The latter two have moved up from the IBU Cup thanks to the extra quota available for the finals and Marlene Fichtner‘s end to the season.
On the men’s side, two biathletes are moving up to the Oslo races from the B circuit thanks to extra quotas: Simon Kaiser and Roman Rees. Philipp Horn, Johannes Kuehn, Philipp Nawrath, Danilo Riethmueller, Justus Strelow and David Zobel have also been called up.
