Biathlon: the names of the Germans selected for Nove Mesto
On Tuesday morning, theGerman Ski Association unveiled the list of biathletes selected for the World Cup scheduled to start on Thursday in Nove Mesto (Czech Republic).
There are no surprises among the selected riders. On the women’s side, Franziska Preuss, the current overall leader wearing the yellow bib, will be the German leader. Selina Grotian, Marlene Fichtner, Johanna Puff, Sophia Schneider and Julia Tannheimer will also be making the trip to the Czech Republic.

In the men’s category, the same line-up as at the World Championships in Lenzerheide (Switzerland) has been called up. The line-up on the Vysocina Arena includes Philipp Horn, Johannes Kuehn, Philipp Nawrath, Danilo Riethmueller, Justus Strelow and David Zobel.
Following the departure ofUros Velepec, the Germans will be unveiling their new coaching staff.
