Biathlon: Niels Bibollet from Cluse and Savoyard Clémence Lepouriel from Méribel win the U17 category
After the sprints for the U19/U22/Seniors categories in the morning, it was the U17s who were on deck this Saturday afternoon at the French Biathlon Cup in Les Saisies (Savoie).
On the women’s side, Savoyard Clémence Lepouriel (8/10) took the laurels of victory with a 13 sec 8 lead over Ninon Duvillard (8/10) and 15 sec 6 over Rose Dusserre (8/10). Jeanne Dautheville (6/10), Canelle Midez (6/10) and Zélie Pic (7/10) followed in the top 6.
The men’s race was dominated by Niels Bibollet (8/10), from La Clusaz (Haute-Savoie). Alexis Colomban(5/10) was second at 11.4 seconds, Augustin Remonnay (8/10) third at 20.3 seconds, followed by Robinson Goleret (9/10), Sacha Mazzili-Riaboff (6/10) and Yann Roguet (6/10).
