Biathlon: the 2025/2026 World Cup calendar is out
At midday on Thursday, the IBU unveiled the full programme for the 2025/2026 World Cup. It is scheduled to kick off on Saturday 29 November 2025 and close on Sunday 22 March 2026.
Östersund (Sweden) will have the chance to open the hostilities, with relays by gender, followed by Hochfilzen (Austria) and Annecy – Le Grand-Bornand (Haute-Savoie) before Christmas.
At the beginning of January, the sequence will be classic with Oberhof (Germany) and Ruhpolding (Germany), followed by Nove Mesto (Czech Republic). TheAntholz (Italy) venue will be used in February for the Milan/Cortina 2026 Olympic Games.
Finally, after the prestigious quadrennial competition, the World Cup will conclude in Kontiolahti (Finland), Otepää (Estonia), which returns to the calendar a year before hosting the World Championships, and Oslo-Holmenkollen (Norway).
