Biathlon: Franziska Preuss to train in Bessans from 2 to 16 August
As Nordic Magazine has learned from the German Ski Association, the German national A biathlon team resumes training this week.
After a month and a half off, the men have spent the last two days in Oberhof (Germany) before travelling to Leipzig (Germany) until Thursday 15 May. A resumption programme marked by numerous physical tests, which the women will carry out from 14 to 20 May.

Selina Grotian, Franziska Preuss, Marlene Fichtner, Janina Hettich-Walz, Johanna Puff, Sophia Schneider, Julia Tannheimer and Vanessa Voigt will then get down to business in Livigno (Italy) from 8 to 22 June, before spending two weeks in Bessans (Savoie) from 2 to 16 August.

Meanwhile, Philipp Horn, Johannes Kuehn, Philipp Nawrath, Danilo Riethmueller, Justus Strelow, Simon Kaiser, Roman Rees and David Zobel will have been in Livigno and Obertilliach (Austria) from 8 to 22 June, as well as Oberhof and Ruhpolding (Germany) from 4 to 18 August.

Following the German summer championships in Arber (Germany), scheduled for the first weekend in September, the team will head to Livigno and Antholz (Italy) from 23 September to 8 October. Their preparations will conclude on the snow in Idre Fjäll (Sweden) from 4 to 18 November, with a participation in the Swedish opening races.
