Biathlon: perfect day for France in Goms
A few hours after the brilliant victory of their compatriots Lou-Anne Dupont Ballet-Baz, Violette Bony, Ian Martinet and Guillaume Poirot in the mixed relay of the Junior Cup biathlon in Goms (Switzerland), the Vosges’ Amandine Mengin and the Franc-Comtois Léo Carlier also raised their arms.

This time, it was on a mixed single relay that they enabled France to win. Almost in the lead from start to finish, Les Bleus spent nine picks in their eight passes over the mats. In the end, and logically, it was the French who crossed the finish line as solo winners.

They were joined on the podium by Austrians Thomas Marchl and Lena Pinter, at 30 sec 3, and Poles Fabian Suchodolski and Barbara Skrobiszewska, at 53 sec 4.
