Biathlon : Guillaume Poirot scores a second top-3 finish in the Junior Cup
After claiming his first international podium at the Ridnaun-Val Ridanna Junior Cup (Italy) just a few days ago, Guillaume Poirot wasted no time in finding his way back to the top 3 on this circuit. In Goms, Switzerland, the Frenchman shone by taking second place in the closing Mass-Start 60.

Only beaten by Italy’s Felix Ratschiller (19/20), the Vosgien, despite two faults on the shooting range, made up for it on his skis to finish just six seconds behind the Italian at the finish line. Michele Carollo (17/20) took third place in the box.

Doubiste Léo Carlier also took part in the flower ceremony, finishing sixth despite four faults behind the rifle. Lionel Jouannaud (15/20) was just outside the top ten, as the Haut-Savoyard finally finished eleventh. The fastest skier of the day, Edgar Geny could not aim any higher than thirteenth place following his 15/20 behind the rifle.
Martin Botet (14/20) and Ian Martinet (13/20) struggled with their shooting, finishing twenty-second and twenty-sixth respectively.
