Biathlon: Les Bleues on fire in Goms
While the French women in the IBU Cup scored a hat-trick of victories in the sprint at Ridnaun-Val Ridanna (Italy) on Saturday afternoon, the French girls in the Junior Cup did the same in Goms (Switzerland).

In the second sprint of the week, it was Montblanc’s Louise Roguet (8/10) who took victory in a format in which she is currently runner-up in the youth world championships. She won by a margin of just 0.9 seconds over Lou-Anne Dupont Ballet-Baz (8/10), who came very close to completing the double two days after having already raised her arms.

Third place went to Maëla Correia (9/10) from the Vosges. She scored another top 3 finish in the Goms valley by getting the better of Czech Lucie Jandurova (10/10), who was too short on cross-country skis.

Juliette Oliva (8/10) was fifth and at the flower ceremony, as was Switzerland’s Molly Kafka (9/10), sixth. For Les Bleues, Namou Candau-Armand (8/10) was seventh, Maëlle Achoui (9/10) ninth and Thémice Fontaine (7/10) twenty-second.
