On Thursday morning, the last biathlon events of the 2025 Asian Games in Harbin (China), the relays, were held at the Yabuli stadium. Two days after the sprints, in which China failed to win gold on home soil, the women’s team washed off the disappointment.
Jialin Tang, Ying Wen, Yuanleng Chu and Fanqi Meng actually won this relay, despite three laps and eleven picks and a fourth-place finish at a quarter of the way through the race. South Korea(Enjung Ko, Ekaterina Avvakumova, Mariya Abe, Jumi Jung) took silver at 21 sec 0 and Kazakhstan(Olga Poltoranina, Darya Klimina, Arina Kryukova, Yelizaveta Beletskaya) bronze at 55 sec 6.

In the men’s event, which was marked by penalty laps, Japan (Kiyomasa Ojima, Mikito Tachizaki, Masaharu Yamamoto, Tsukasa Kobonoki) was crowned winner ahead of Kazakhstan(Alexandr Mukhin, Asset Dyussenov, Kirill Bauer, Vladislav Kireyev) and China(Weiyao Hu, Hantu Wu, Xingyuan Yan, Cang Gu).
