Biathlon: a change for Finland for the Hochfilzen and Grand-Bornand stages
On Monday evening, theFinnish Biathlon Association announced the names of the athletes selected for the World Cups in Hochfilzen (Austria) and Le Grand-Bornand (Haute-Savoie). Suvi Minkkinen is the logical leader and, as in Kontiolahti (Finland), she will be joined byInka Hämäläinen, Venla Lehtonen and Sonja Leinamo.
On the men’s side, there was one change with the selection of Tuomas Harjula, who performed well in the IBU Cup, in place of Arttu Heikkinen. Olli Hiidensalo, Jaakko Ranta, Tero Seppälä and Otto Invenius, the four men lining up for the opening relay, have been retained.
