Biathlon: firsts for Anna Andexer and Fabian Muellauer
Early on Monday afternoon, the Austrian Ski Association officially unveiled the group of athletes selected for this weekend’s Biathlon World Cup in Hochfilzen (Austria).
If Anna Gandler and Lisa Theresa Hauser lead the women’s squad , they will have Lea Rotschopf, Dunja Zdouc and Anna Andexer as team-mates.
The latter, the outgoing winner of the Junior Cup’s big globe, will be making her World Cup debut on this occasion, replacing Kristina Oberthaler.
There has also been a change on the men’s side with the arrival of Fabian Muellauer, who was forced to withdraw at the last minute for Kontiolahti (Finland), in place of Patrick Jakob. Simon Eder, Felix Leitner, David Komatz and Fredrik Muehlbacher are the other players selected.

- 11.30am: women’s 7.5 km sprint
- 2.20pm: Men’s 10km sprint
Saturday 14th December
- 12.15pm: Women’s 10 km pursuit
- 2.45pm: Men’s 12.5 km pursuit
Sunday 15 December
- 11.30am: Women’s 4×6 km relay
- 2.15pm: Men’s 4×7.5km relay
