Germany’s Franziska Preuss won the biathlon world cup sprint in Hochfilzen (Austria) on Friday to take the lead in the overall rankings. Her success, combined withElvira Oeberg ‘s twenty-fifth place (6/10), means that she now has the yellow bib.
Sweden, now in second place, is 14 points behind the German. Lou Jeanmonnot, fourth on the day, remains third at 54 points. Marketa Davidova, Suvi Minkkinen and Karoline Knotten follow.

Finally, Franziska Preuss has also taken the red sprint bib, which she will wear next Friday in Le Grand-Bornand (Haute-Savoie). Marketa Davidova, her runner-up, is 14 points behind.
