15:34. By winning the pursuit at the biathlon world cup in Hochfilzen (Austria) on Saturday afternoon, Norway’s Johannes Thingnes Boe increased his lead in the overall rankings.
With 339 points from the first five races of the season, he leads the way ahead of Sturla Holm Lægreid (304) and Emilien Jacquelin (246), who is now in third place. Eric Perrot (222) moves up to fourth place.
Next week in Le Grand-Bornand (Haute-Savoie), Johannes Thingnes Boe will be in yellow… but also in red for the pursuit on Saturday. Finally, Campbell Wright (134), sixteenth on the day, widens the gap between himself and Vitalii Mandzyn (98) for the blue bib.
