The brilliant winner of the biathlon world cup sprint in Hochfilzen (Austria) on Friday afternoon, Norway’s Johannes Thingnes Boe, is back in the lead in the overall rankings.
Wearing the yellow bib for the first time in his career, Peiserot Eric Perrot finished thirteenth and must relinquish his precious tunic to the Norwegian before Saturday’s pursuit.

In the rankings, Johannes Thingnes Boe (249) now has a 10-point lead over Sturla Holm Lægreid (239), while the Frenchman (193) follows at 58 points. Endre Stroemsheim (186), Emilien Jacquelin (171), Sebastian Samuelsson (153), Fabien Claude (146), Philipp Nawrath (145), Quentin Fillon-Maillet (141) and Vebjoern Soerum (137) are in the top 10.
In the U23 rankings, American Campbell Wright (109) takes the blue bib from Vitalii Mandzyn (98) , while Johannes Thingnes Boe also takes the red sprint leader’s bib from Emilien Jacquelin.
