Biathlon: Germany releases its selection for Hochfilzen
On Monday morning, theGerman Ski Association unveiled the list of athletes selected for the Biathlon World Cup, scheduled for Friday to Sunday in Hochfilzen (Austria).
There have been two changes to the team fielded over the last few days in Kontiolahti (Finland). On the women’s side, Marlene Fichtner replaces Johanna Puff, while David Zobel is replaced by Simon Kaiser on the men’s side. For the two biathletes, who have come from the IBU Cup, where they recently shone, this is their first World Cup selection.
Accompanying them are Selina Grotian, Julia Kink, Franziska Preuss, Julia Tannheimer and Vanessa Voigt on one side and Philipp Horn, Johannes Kuehn, Justus Strelow, Danilo Riethmueller and Philipp Nawrath on the other.
