Biathlon: start of the Hochfilzen stage this Friday with the sprints
The Biathlon World Cup in Hochfilzen (Austria) kicks off this Friday after the sprints. From 11.30am, the women will be on deck in the wake of South Korea’s Ekaterina Avvakumova, who has inherited bib number 1. Then, before the favourites in the green and red groups, Eve Bouvard will have bib number 3, Sophie Chauveau will have bib number 5, Baiba Bendika will have bib number 6, Selina Grotian will have bib number 7, Lucie Charvatova will have bib number 9, Tuuli Tomingas will have bib number 10, Juni Arnekleiv will have bib number 12 and Aita Gasparin will have bib number 15.

Then, at 2.20pm, it’s the boys’ turn to contest their sprint… started by Greenlander Sondre Slettemark, bib 1. The very beginning of the race will be attractive with the starts of Niklas Hartweg (3), Sean Doherty (6), Florent Claude (7), Emilien Claude (8), Martin Uldal (9), Jakub Borgula (10) and David Komatz (11).
