Biathlon: IBU Cup resumes this Wednesday in Geilo
After a two-day break and a long journey to Geilo (Norway), the IBU Cup circuit kicks off the second stage of its 2024/2025 season this Wednesday with the individual events. At a venue unfamiliar with international competitions, it’s the women who kick off the hostilities at 10am.
Poland’s Anna Nadza-Kubiniec, with bib number 1, will be the first to start, followed by France’s Paula Botet (10), overall leader, Camille Bened (20), Chloé Chevalier (26), Fany Bertrand (42), Voldiya Galmace-Paulin (55) and Anaëlle Bondoux (105).
Then, at 1.50pm, Ukraine’s Taras Lesiuk will open the men’s individual gate. Axel Garnier (25) will be the first Frenchman on the track, followed by Oscar Lombardot (31), Gaëtan Paturel (36), Théo Guiraud-Poillot (47), Martin Botet (87), making his first start on this circuit, and Damien Levet (115).
