Biathlon: Les Bleus off the podium in the mixed singles relay
Early on Saturday afternoon, a few hours after the mixed relay, a mixed singles relay was on the programme on the final day of theIBU Biathlon Cup in Brezno-Osrblie (Slovakia). This final event of the week, which came as no great surprise, was dominated by Norway’s Karoline Erdal and Sivert Guttorm Bakken.
With seven picks, they are well ahead of the Czech Republic with Tereza Vinklerkova and Tomas Mikyska (0+3) and Ukraine with Anastasiya Merkushyna and Artem Tyschenko (0+2).
France’s Amandine Mengin and Rémi Broutier (0+10) quickly lost their place on the podium due to too many picks and finished fifth.
