Biathlon: end of the IBU Cup in Geilo this Saturday
This Saturday, theIBU Biathlon Cup in Geilo (Norway) comes to a close with the second pursuit race of the winter. At 11.00am, it’ s the women who kick off the hostilities with the start of Paula Botet from Bresse, bib 1 on her shoulders.
Dominant in the sprint, she saw her first rivals start after waiting more than 30 seconds. Marlene Fichtner was 31 seconds behind, Johanna Skottheim 37 and Chloé Chevalier 38. Further back are Camille Bened at 1 min 35, Voldiya Galmace-Paulin at 1 min 36, Anaëlle Bondoux at 2 min 18 and Fany Bertrand at 2 min 31.

Then, at 13:45 in the men’s race, Norway’s Martin Uldal will open the track 14 seconds ahead of Johan-Olav Botn, 15 ahead of Sverre Dahlen Aspenes, 17 ahead of Roman Rees, 35 ahead of Isak Frey and 46 ahead of Oscar Lombardot. Behind, Théo Guiraud-Poillot will start at 1 min 26, Gaëtan Paturel at 1 min 35, Axel Garnier at 2 min 11 and Damien Levet at 1 min 42. Sixty-first in the sprint, Martin Botet did not qualify.
