Biathlon: European championships kick off this Wednesday in Italy
The 2025 European Biathlon Championships kick off this Wednesday in Martell-Val Martello (Italy). This first day will be reserved for individuals and will start at 10:30 with the start of the women’s race.
Camille Bened, bib 8, will be the first Frenchwoman to take to the track, followed by Voldiya Galmace-Paulin (21), Gilonne Guigonnat (32), Amandine Mengin (35), Sophie Chauveau (55) and Léonie Jeannier (86).

Then, from 2.30pm, the men will be on deck. Rémi Broutier (6), Oscar Lombardot (28), Gaëtan Paturel (35), Théo Guiraud-Poillot (42), Edgar Geny (75) and Valentin Lejeune (83) will represent France.
